Maintenance downtime scheduled

Security Statement

QualityNet contains several layers of security. To access My QualityNet (the secure portion of QualityNet), users are required to accept Terms and Conditions, which carry penalties up to and including criminal prosecution for unauthorized disclosure of account login information or any site content. Accounts are monitored to ensure compliance with the Rules of Behavior and Terms of Use, which are accessible from the footer of all QualityNet pages.

Users sign in to My QualityNet with a User ID and Password issued to them after they have completed their QualityNet registration. All users must also have a unique e-mail address. Accounts are deactivated after 120 days of inactivity.

QualityNet uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) as well as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt data as it is securely transmitted. (Encryption is the process of scrambling the contents of a file so that the file is completely unreadable.)

Several layers of database security also exist in QualityNet. One type of database security is role-based security. The QualityNet Security Administrator assigns specific roles to each registered user which determines the features, functions and data to which the user will have access.

For questions or concerns about security, contact the QualityNet Help Desk.
