FY 2011 IPPS hospital final rule published

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued final rule CMS-1498-F, “Changes to the Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems and Fiscal Year 2011 Rates.” It was published in the August 16, 2010, Federal Register.

The final rule can be viewed and downloaded from the FY 2011 Final Rule Home Page section of the CMS website. Details regarding the Reporting Hospital Quality Data for Annual Payment (RHQDAPU) program begin on page 50180 of the PDF downloadable file.
