Editor's Pick Tools: Person-Directed Care Leadership Series

In this eight-part instructional DVD series, Nancy Fox, LNFA, challenges us to envision the Person-Directed Care Model far beyond our existing boundaries. Drawing many of her leadership principles from Dr. Bill Thomas, founder of the international Eden Alternative movement, Nancy shares her personal journey of transforming her own nursing home into a "real home, not home-like," a place that promotes a positive elder hood for all of its residents.

This interactive leadership series will introduce pathways that will bring forth applicable ways to reach out to staff, residents and other members with your heart as well as your head. Through personal storytelling and interactive sharing sessions, PDCLS delivers concrete pathways to plant the seeds, warm the soil, tend the garden and gather the great harvest of this exciting culture change movement.
